Shine Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR! :) It feels good to be back in school, even though my whole school bus was late for school due to the immensely heavy traffic just outside the compound. We waited 20 minutes just to get in! From the traffic lights! What a great way to start the school year, right? However, things picked up (although they werent exactly down) when I saw all the familiar faces. It was nice. :) It's quite hard to describe the warm fuzzy feeling you get. Hahahahaha I know it sounds very wrong. Ahhhh whadda heck. Didn't make many resolutions this year, because last year I dont think I fulfilled any of them. It's rather hard to be realistic while jotting down those little guidelines. Haha, I wanted "an A2 average for both Mathematics subjects"! Snicker. Spent almost the whole day doing Guides stuff mostly with Tiara, Rhea, Leanne, and Li En. Bert popped in when she wasnt peer leading. All I can say is, our lives now revolve around three things - poles, twine, and mallets. Alright, I hope the talk went okay. If recruitment drops this year, we are going to die. ___ Thanks Bert, Carine, Charlene, Tiara, and Yvonne for your lovely presents! So sweet! :) |
